(January 14, 1932-May 14, 1990) Born Albert Lee Rozier Jr. in Apopka, Florida. Graduated from high school in Florida, 1951; served in military. Entered North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State College in 1956; graduated in 1961 with degree in electrical engineering. Edited A. & T. student newspaper The Register; published extra edition on Greensboro sit-in movement. After college, worked as systems engineer and technical writer, mainly on defense aerospace projects, for Boeing (Seattle, 1960-63), Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (1963-67), General Electric (San Jose, California, 1967-70), Atlas Heating (San Jose, 1970-71), Aydin Corporation (Palo Alto, 1973-74), and Lockheed Missile and Space (Sunnyvale, California, 1975-76). Returned to Apopka in 1976; worked for Martin Marietta (Orlando, Florida, 1976-78), TRW (Orlando, 1978-80), and other firms in central Florida. Died in Apopka.
